Brief History: Luke Skywalker was born secretly with his twin, but he never knew that. All he knew was that he lived his entire young life on Tatooine, a desert planet, working on a moisture farm for his Uncle Owen and his Aunt Beru, even as all his friends went off to the stars for adventures. Growing a little bitter, and slowly finding his own way, he discovered he had a skill at shooting, and at driving. His concentration was such that his uncle always sent him to fix things, for he had a way of finding the problem with mechanicals even when they were eluding the best others could do.
When he came into the possession of two new droids in his eighteenth year, everything changed. He met up with a wild old man in the area, one who was called Ben Kenobi, who was revealed to secretly be a Jedi named Obi Wan Kenobi, who revealed the droids needed to see a Princess on the planet of Alderaan, a member of the Rebel Alliance. Luke was hesitant, even as he learned his father had been a Jedi, and was killed by an evil man, and received his father’s lightsaber, an energy weapon used by the Jedi, which Ben meant to teach Luke to be. Luke objected, but when he found his Uncle and aunt dead, he agreed to go, leaving behind the ashed of his youth and innocence.
They hired a space pilot named Han Solo, who took them to Alderaan, but they discovered the planet had been blown up, and were taken aboard a space station called the Death Star, the weapon the Galactic Empire used to destroy the planet. There, they split up, Luke, Chewbacca(Han’s copilot), and Han all heading to rescue the Princess, who turned out to be on board, even as Obi Wan set out to disable a reactor which would allow them to get away. They were successful, but nearly were caught by Darth Vader, a Dark Lord of the Sith(a kind of evil Jedi), who Obi Wan distracted, and ultimately died to keep from coming after the rest.
Luke and the others escaped, and took part in the Rebel Alliance’s attempt to destroy the Death Star, which was successful as Luke began to come into his own in the Force. Luke became a commander and a hero of the rebellion, and began to take on missions for the Rebel Alliance.
List of Abilities/Powers: Luke Skywalker possesses midichlorians off the scale in his blood, which allow him to manipulate an energy field called the Force. The Force exists in all things. Using this power, he can sense the right moment to do things, feel when friends are in danger, see without his eyes, deflect laser bolts and bullets with the Force, and move things with his mind. As he is trained, or as he learns by trial by fire he will be capable of much more.
His potential in the Force is incredible, surpassing even his father’s original abilities, though he was once much weaker then his father. Until he learns how to use it however, he is restricted to a small number of abilities.
He is still learning to be skilled with his lightsaber, a weapon which can split steel or deflect energy.
